Machine Wars is a term used in description of the war brought upon by Sion "Xatrix" Logan and his rise in the Borg Collective as their King wherein he changed their purpose from bringing order to chaos to cutting the flaws from the universe. In this manner Sion changed the Collective to fit his image of power and strength over numbers, investing more in the quality of those he assimilated over the quantity and destroying all those that he thought was unworthy of joining the Borg.
